Wellness 101: 3 Practical Tips to Help You Improve Your Well-being

 Wellness can mean everything you do or not do to make you healthy and function at your best. Healthy living is good health. 


Here are three tips to help us improve our well-being:

I. Pay attention to all parts of your life. For example, mental, emotional, physical, social, environmental, and financial health.

How?

One to ten, how would you rate your stress level in these areas of life-- relationships, home and work,  beliefs or values, income/spending, sleep, etc? 


II. Rest your body and mind, and buy and eat healthy food. 

How?

Our mindset can drive our thoughts to be productive or destructive. You can choose a simple and easy exercise to do daily with your mind and body. It can take 5 minutes or more. Too often, healthy eating means a healthy body and mind. Let's work on a healthy habit of buying and eating nutritious food.


III. Ask for help. 

How?

Many people tend to only ask for help once it's too late. Remember, everyone you know has a human problem. If you struggle with any part of your life, seek help sooner than later. Family members, friends, or professionals can help you return to where you were before the crisis. Our human problems can often be an opportunity for us to grow and live better.
